As a Security Officer – Government Patrol in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Officer in a government location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment by conducting unarmed patrols throughout the assigned area. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will foster a positive atmosphere for everyone on site. You will be responsible for routine patrols, remaining highly visible to support the integrity of the location, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any security-related concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as required.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs and requests.
• Complete daily reports and maintain documentation of activities and incidents as required by site policies.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
