About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP-level C++ Engineer to join its Market Data technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance C++ applications that are integral to market data processing and trading execution. This role demands a focus on optimizing systems for low latency, throughput, and reliability, and requires close collaboration with front office stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions. The engineer will also be involved in contributing to architecture decisions and performance tuning across the stack, with a particular emphasis on working in a Linux-based environment that includes multithreading and distributed systems. Applicants must have a strong proficiency in modern C++, ideally C++20, and a background in building real-time infrastructure within a trading or financial setting. Experience with low-latency systems, market data feeds, or trading platforms is essential, as is a deep understanding of Linux, multithreading, and performance optimization. The role is suited to individuals who can thrive in a high-ownership, fast-moving environment and who have a proven track record of 8-20 years' in hands-on development. Familiarity with execution systems or market data distribution is also a key requirement for this position.
