As a Security Officer - Chemical Center Patrol - Full Time in Greenup, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to employees and visitors alike. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities within a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Monitor access points and observe for any suspicious activity or hazards, reporting findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as per Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
