As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing or industrial location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the premises. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring assigned areas, identifying potential security-related concerns, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be required to operate a vehicle while performing your patrol duties. DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
