Position Overview:

Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing transportation of goods while maintaining close and effective communication with partners, agents and customers.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Preparing shipments for transportation
• Organizing inland transportation/trucking services
• Booking air/ocean import and export schedules to meet customers needs
• Prepare import/export documentation
• Track and Trace shipments and ensure logistics processes for a smooth importation or exportation.
• Ensure compliance with import/export policies for different shipping lines and different countries
• Work closely with related organizations such as customs, trucking companies, brokers and NVOCC/Airlines for an effective management of transportation process
• Maintain close communication with customers
• Monitoring ocean and air freights
• Generate quotes for different routes and different types of cargo
• Generate invoices for completed shipments
