Join to apply for the In-House Translator role at CLOVEHITCH . The In-House Translator is vital to the growth, refinement, and execution of CLOVEHITCH’s project-based translation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in both the source and target languages and a deep understanding of medical terminology and industry-specific conventions. This position is contingent upon CLOVEHITCH obtaining an upcoming long-term project. It is a remote role. Key Responsibilities: Translate medical documents between one or more European Languages and English (US), ensuring accuracy in meaning, tone, and context Proofread and edit translations for grammatical accuracy, consistency, and adherence to medical terminology standards Conduct research and use translation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in line with company guidelines and healthcare regulations Stay up to date on medical terminology, industry developments, and regulatory requirements Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience (or the equivalent) as a translator, with proven success in translation, editing, proofreading, and quality assurance within localization projects Fluency in both the source and target languages, with expertise in medical terminology Experience translating medical documents or working in a healthcare setting Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive medical information Familiarity with medical regulatory guidelines and healthcare documentation standards Proficiency in CAT tools and in-house or third-party translation management systems (TMS) Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) A certification or degree in translation, linguistics, medicine, or a related field is preferred What We Offer: Competitive salary, flexible working hours, benefits (for US-based employees), and opportunities for professional development An inclusive and collaborative work environment The chance to work on diverse and meaningful projects.
