Title: Community Events Coordinator

Location: Katy, TX

Duration: 3 month Contract

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the US

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Community Events Coordinator to join our External Communications team. This role supports community outreach initiatives tied to new store openings and local partnerships. You’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and community partners to plan and execute events that align with company values, ranging from youth sports sponsorships to law enforcement partnerships to multi-day grand opening events.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistics for community events tied to store openings and local outreach.
• Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure event readiness.
• Draft and manage event “run of show” schedules and calendars.
• Manage and respond to community partnership/sponsorship requests via inbox.
• Partner with PR team on external communications around events.
• Support peak season event planning while manager is traveling.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail, escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years’ experience in event coordination, marketing events, or community outreach.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to self-manage.
• Experience with vendor coordination and logistical planning.
• Proactive, professional maturity; ability to make independent decisions.
• Detail-oriented, with proven ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
