Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
• Analyze production costs and prepare periodic cost reports for management.
• Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile inventory accounts.
• Review and analyze standard and actual costs for variances.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct margin analysis, product costing, and profitability analysis.
• Work closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support audits and provide cost-related documentation as needed.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Professional certification (CMA or CPA) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
