We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana, on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee the review, drafting, and negotiation of various agreements to minimize organizational risk while aligning with institutional policies and objectives. This position requires a strong legal background and hands-on experience in contract management.

Responsibilities:
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, and independent contractor agreements.
• Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with the Office of the General Counsel to address legal concerns and compliance requirements.
• Analyze and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations while maintaining adherence to institutional policies.
• Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including amendments, terminations, and renewals.
• Facilitate discussions with internal teams to ensure clarity and efficiency in contract execution.
• Oversee agreements related to software licenses, digital marketing, event spaces, and catering services.
• Administer non-disclosure agreements and recruiting/staffing contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of contract documentation and updates.
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for contract management processes.• Law degree required, with a focus on contract law or related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a contract attorney or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
• Proven ability to draft and review complex legal agreements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders and legal teams.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with software licensing agreements and other specialized contract types.
• Ability to work on-site in New Orleans, Louisiana.
