A Day in the life of a Specialty Cabinet Maker:

• Build custom cabinet fixtures from scratch, taking them from raw wood to a finished product
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, lay-outs and sketches
• Select appropriate wood and materials ensuring quality and uniformity in grain and color
• Proficiently operate and maintain various woodworking machinery
• Assemble components using various types of joinery with accuracy and precision

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years of Proven experience as a Specialty Cabinet Maker with a strong portfolio of past projects
• Extensive knowledge of different types of wood, veneers, and other materials, including their properties, and most effective uses
• Ability to read and interpret complex specifications, as well as having installation process knowledge
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in joinery and the final appearance of the product
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with our designers and other team members
